Bam Margera Sentenced to Probation After Family Drama
Former “Jackass” star, Bam Margera, has pleaded guilty to two counts of disorderly conduct following a dispute with his family.
Last April, the 44-year-old – who has been battling substance abuse and alcohol addiction over the years, and has had multiple brushes with the law – allegedly punched his brother, Jess Margera, and also threatened other members of his family at their home in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
On Wednesday, 26 June, Margera made an appearance at a courthouse in Chester County for a hearing, where he pleaded guilty to the charges levelled against him.
As a result, Margera was sentenced to six months of probation. Additionally, the “Viva La Bam” star will have to undergo random drug testing: should he fail a test, he will face a spell in prison.
Fans are hopeful that this latest legal issue will serve as a wake-up call for Margera to seek the help he needs and get his life back on track.
